Claude Code for Engineers – Advanced

Solve a realistic cross-cutting software challenge with Claude Code and deliver a tested, peer-reviewed, merge-ready pull request.

Claude Code for Engineers – Advanced

This advanced, one-day, project-based course is intentionally light on instruction. After a 45-minute kickoff briefing, participants spend the remainder of the day addressing a realistic feature request or incident against a real or representative codebase.

Working independently or in teams with minimal facilitator guidance, participants use Claude Code capabilities such as MCP servers, subagents, Skills, hooks, and automated pull-request review. They diagnose a cross-cutting issue, implement and test a solution on a branch, review generated migrations or SQL, and produce a merge-ready pull request.

The course concludes with an Engineering Playoffs format in which teams conduct structured peer reviews, combine the strongest compatible ideas, validate improved solutions, and defend their technical decisions using a shared Definition of Done and engineering quality rubric.
