Codex 201 Core Skills
This course builds on the Codex fundamentals introduced in Session 101 and focuses on using project context to produce better AI-assisted coding results. You will prepare ChatGPT Codex for a focused project workflow, learn how context shapes model behavior, and create supporting documents that guide later development work.
The course begins with a short Codex setup and orientation, then moves into context management and project preparation. You will create requirements, design, data model, and test-plan documents for a coding project, then use those files to guide Codex as it plans, generates, reviews, and refines application code.
By the end of the course, you will understand how to move beyond one-off prompting and use Codex with prepared project context. You will have practiced building a PowerShell Task Tracker from scoped project documents, reviewing generated code, running the application locally, and verifying behavior through terminal-based tests.
